About Colleen Crowley

Colleen Crowley is a consultant with 25 years of experience in communications, media relations, public affairs, and campaign operations and strategy.

She has managed successful campaign efforts throughout California and served as a senior advisor to many elected leaders, including California Governor Gavin Newsom while he was Mayor of San Francisco. She has worked extensively with cities and school districts to develop media and communication strategies for ballot measures.

Colleen uses a coaching model to work with individuals running or considering running for public office.  She also coaches those hoping to gain political traction for issues they care about. Her hybrid political coaching/consulting model empowers ordinary citizens to become involved in the public sphere, and to bring their genius along with them. It is a powerful force, and one of the medicines needed for our political system at this time.

She has been a weekly guest on local cable television news shows offering political commentary, and public speaker at conferences and other events.

Colleen is a member of the International Coaching Federation and studied at the Coaches Training Institute, one of the world’s leading coach training programs. She specializes in coaching newcomers to the political world and offers Campaigns 101, a seminar covering the nuts and bolts of political campaigns.
